Styling Station

Three things decide a styling station, in this order. One, the cable: a dryer, a wand and a straightener means at least three leads at every station, and whether the body has cable access top and bottom is what makes it clean to work at or a mess. Two, the surface: colour and developer eat into laminate, hardwood and stone do not. Three, the storage. How the mirror looks comes fourth.

What to settle before you order

There is one model here, so the choice is not between models. It is between configurations, and three of the four have to be settled before the room is built.

01

Where the power is

The cable access points have to line up with the sockets already in the wall. Send an elevation with the sockets marked and the access points are built in rather than drilled in later by someone else. This has to be settled before the body is made; once it is made it cannot move.

02

The mirror, and how many sides

The mirror is built into the body, so it is specified with the body rather than fitted afterwards. Single sided against a wall, or double sided back to back down the middle of the room, and that is what sets the depth of the body.

03

The finish

Natural hardwood, stained, or matched to the rest of the furniture. The station is the one large timber piece in the room, so its colour sets what the floor and the wall panelling have to sit with. Ordered alongside the chairs, the wood and the leather are matched together rather than approximately afterwards.

Side by side

What you are ordering

Only what the drawing carries is listed. Size, mirror size and the number of sides are made to your elevation rather than sold in a fixed configuration.

Your finish

Wood, and what
you put next to it

Natural or stained hardwood. The station is the one large timber piece in the room, so its colour sets what the floor and the wall panelling have to sit with. Ordered alongside the chairs, the wood and the leather are matched together rather than approximately afterwards.

  • Natural or stained hardwood, or matched to the rest of the room
  • Granite shelves, because colour and developer mark laminate and stay there
  • Mirror size specified with the body, not fitted afterwards
  • A physical sample of the finish goes out before you sign off

Inside the factory

A station is a
cabinet with power in it

What makes a styling station different from a cabinet is that power runs through it. Where the access points sit, how much room is left behind a socket, how deep an appliance holder is: those are settled at the drawing stage and cannot be changed afterwards. Carpentry, edging, spraying and assembly all happen here, so a socket layout you send is built in rather than drilled in later by someone else.

  • Cabinets sprayed and finished in house

Who orders these

Who buys styling stations

The station is the same. What changes is the size, the finish and the socket layout.

One room

Fitting out a floor

Four to six stations in one finish, sized to your wall runs.

Send the socket layout before the room is built.

Multi-site

Chain or franchise

The same station in every branch. If the rooms differ, the same design can be made at a different width.

Tell us the branch count and we hold the finish.

Fit-out

Designer or contractor

Made to a drawing, with the access points placed to your layout.

Send an elevation and a socket layout and we come back with a 3D render and a price.

Packed and loaded

The mirror travels
on its own

The mirror ships in its own crate, the body in panels, and the granite with reinforced packing. Assembled on site. A mirror or a stone shelf broken in transit is replaced free inside 90 days.

After it arrives

What is covered,
and for how long

30Day

Hassle-free support

In the first 30 days after delivery, a quality issue is answered with a replacement or a fix, not a claims process.

90Day

Damage replacement

Free replacement or parts for functional or structural damage inside the first 90 days. This is what covers transit damage that only shows once it is in use.

1Year

Manufacturer warranty

Structure and manufacturing defects: motors, remote controllers and lifting systems, hydraulic systems, and the metal or wooden frame. Sewing workmanship and upholstery defects are covered for 30 days from delivery. After the year, spare parts and technical support stay available.

Wrinkling of vinyl on a seating surface is normal wear, not a defect. Every upholstered chair shows it with use. What is not covered is listed in full on the warranty policy page.

Questions

Before you send
the enquiry

Where does the cable go?

There are access points top and bottom, so a dryer, a wand and a straightener each run inside the body rather than across the counter. Send your socket layout with the order and the access points are placed to match.

Why hardwood and granite rather than laminate?

Because of what gets spilled on it. Colour and developer mark a laminate top and stay there; hardwood and stone do not. A station is wiped down after every client, and over a year the difference is visible from across the room.

Single or double sided?

Both are possible, and it changes the depth of the body. Against a wall, single sided. Back to back down the middle of the room, double sided. Settle it with the socket layout.

Can the width be changed?

Yes. The panels are cut here, so the same design can be made at a different width to suit your wall runs. Send an elevation and we quote from it.

What is the minimum order?

A single station can be ordered as a sample. Beyond that, ask and we quote against your elevation and socket layout.
